COURSE DESCRIPTION


The structural analysis of a language is the fundamental pillar for correctly managing and using it in the different ways; in which language skills are needed.    Therefore, the Bachelor's Degree in English gr    aduate requires a deep theoretical and practical knowledge of this subject.   In his performance as a teacher, translator, or official of any company where knowledge of English is needed, he will require the application of the structures so that his class, his readers, his audience, or the public to whom he directs his work understands his oral, and/or written message. 

The subject English Grammar 210a offers the student the opportunity to acquire the necessary tools to achieve the skills required by correctly using and analyzing the language and theoretical-practical knowledge regarding the order of words and syntactic flow for the construction of statements and paragraphs. The subject consists of 5 modules, and the methodology to be followed in the development of the course will be expository and participatory, with a lot of practical and laboratory work.  The evaluation will be diagnostic, formative, and summative.

Module No. 1 Review of the basic knowledge acquired in English Grammar 110 ab.

  3. Prepositions and conjunctions.
